NOT A PSYCHOPATHIC TRAIT
Like alot of people I also like listen to crime podcasts, and let me explain you beforehand that listening to crime podcast everytime, like almost 3-4 episodes, and every episode of more than one hour is not a psychopathic trait, neither it is any mental health problem.
Everyone has their own stories about how they get into that specific thing with which they are obsessed on the present date, or was present, and same goes with me, since I was young I loved watching CID, that was my go to show, I love how the story unfolds and we get to know about the criminal, but as I grew up I started like Crime petrol, in short I started liking watching about crimes in more documentery style, now it was not investigation style which I liked. I used to watch 3-4 episodes on tv and one day my mother noticed it, and then you guessed it write, my crime related shows was banned, cause my mother thought that for sure I'm going to kill someone.
Well I think she kinda did right, young kids should only watch happy happy things, they do not need to understand that bhabhi and devar k affair me bade bhaiya ka murder ho jata hai.....
Fast forward to 2022, I discovered that their is alot on YouTube to watch, instead of vines, and then with that I started exploring the not so famous side of YouTube and came across an Hindi crime podcast channel, called mysterious duniya, and bruh, the story telling of that person is really good, I mean I liked it, and I again started watch crime videos, and then thanks to my YouTube algorithm I discovered Stephanie soo's all channel, she is such a happening person, and she also have this true crime podcast channel called rotten mango, and again, the way she unfolds her story and her story telling as well as her research is soo meticulous that I once again fall in love with true crime podcast.
Honestly their is this feeling of guilt while watching/listening every story, cause I feel that I'm entertaining myself with someone's grief, I watch alot of time while listening to brutal story,, I also feel so paranoid about alot of things when I go out, but as my father says that being little paranoid is okay and ensures your safety, and I also think that as a human and specially as a vagina holder it is better to be little paranoid about my surroundings.
After watching all those stories, I learnt alot of things, which I don't think I can list, but one thing that I can tell is that, you are not safe anywhere in this world, not even in your home, no matter what gender you are, I mean ofcourse if you are human with testosterone you might not face many types of crime as well as victim blaming in comparison to humans with estrogen, but you are alot not safe.
But this doesn't meant that you will start seeing all your parents as a predator after reading this, no I'm not saying that, I just want to say that this world is not that happy happy place, it could be very brutal, people who faced all those crimes were also like us, they never thought something like this can happen to them, they also had dreams like us.
Another thing that I learned is that condition of police is not bad only in India, no matter in what part of world you are, police is jerk everywhere, their might've some good people, but again they are in very less in comparison to bad people.
And third and last thing is that Politicians/leaders don't give a fuck about what is happening on ground level, until unless they get pressurised by people as well as international media, in conclusion they only work for their own image not for your welfare, and this is not only happening in 2023, it was part of human civilization since they started calling themselves so called civilised people, power dynamics will always make you feel inferior, no matter what your race, class, gender is.
I hope one day these YouTuber come with a video title that we don't have any other case to discuss, cause their is no more cases, but ik thats just me being delusional, nothing like this can happen.
